So last weekend Stoney, Daisy (our dog), and I went camping and kayaking in Mammoth Cave National Park. This park is beautiful and yet another perk to living where we do in Kentucky (the park less than an hour away from Fort Knox). The leaves were just starting to change colors and the weather was perfect. We bought a tent, and air mattress (yeah, we were really roughing it), plenty of marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers, hot chocolate, and a bottle of wine of course. Unfortunately we forgot batteries for the air mattress pump and Stoney decided to blow the whole thing up by himself...hah!
This weekend we are headed to Texas where we will photographing the Colvin-Younts wedding. They are both so much fun and we're really looking forward to both the wedding and seeing some family and friends while we're there. Pictures to come...

It sounds like your camping at Mammoth Cave went much better than my family's trip there years ago... the caves were amazing, but the camping? That didn't go so well.
We went with three other families, and the second night it didn't just rain, it poured. We were so completely soaked, that only one family braved it out that night (and it wasn't mine!) The rest of us made the 4.5 hour drive home!
Oh, and the photo of Daisy is great; I bet Scooby would like to have that one ;)
i'm missing you.
come back to texas.
i'm missing stoney a bit.
tell him to come back to texas.
